Beach Road Dental was established over 43 years ago by Dr John Sinclair. Following his retirement in 2017, he kept the practice within the family passing it onto his niece Dr Laura Huxtable and her husband Dr Ivan Leung.
Together with team members Carly, Debbie, Delecia and Brianna, they have maintained the same warm, family atmosphere.
MEET OUR TEAM
Dr Laura Huxtable is the principal dentist of Beach Road Dental. After graduating from the University of Adelaide, she has worked in various private practices, before taking over from her retiring uncle, Dr John Sinclair.
Dr Laura’s philosophy is to provide gentle dental care of only the highest quality that incorporates the latest in professional development.
She enjoys practicing general dentistry on patients of all ages, with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy and dental implants.
Laura is the proud mum of the gorgeous Madeleine welcomed in July 2022, and fur-mum of golden retriever Hugo.

Carly joined the team at Beach Road Dental as one of our Dental Hygienists in 2019, after graduating from the Advanced Diploma of Oral Health in 2018. Previous to that, Carly worked in the dental industry as a Dental Assistant for over 10 years.
Carly is passionate about educating patients on good oral hygiene habits and helping anxious patients feel more comfortable in a dental setting.
Carly loves being mum to her little boy, Jason. She also loves going to the gym and exploring our local wine regions with her partner.

Dr Ivan graduated from the University of Adelaide and has since worked in a number of private clinics, including rurally in Naracoorte in the picturesque Limestone Coast.
Dr Ivan is always studying something new, and has a keen interest in oral surgery and orthodontics. Ivan has also been involved in the Rotary/Lions East Timor Dental Project since 2013, providing volunteer dental treatment in East Timor on two occasions and helping to promote the project at fundraising events.
Outside of dentistry, Ivan enjoys cooking, playing and watching sport and spoiling his beautiful children Madeleine and dog Hugo.
